Ing. Nikola Tomášek

Founder, professional dancer and trainer. I have been dancing since childhood, and it has been a part of my life ever since. I started gymnastics when I was 5 years old. I have been working as a dance teacher for children and adults since 2008. I started at the Xoana dance and modeling school in Prievidza, which later became SZUŠ Xoana (Xoana private elementary art school), where I graduated in the field of dance. In 2015, I reached the finals of Czechia-Slovakia's Got Talent with the dance group La Suerte. From 2015 to the present, I have been working as a dancer with the Mário Lopéz Dance Company. Thanks to my work with Mário Lopéz, I also became part of the wonderful Let's Dance project (Dancing with the Stars) as a dancer.

As a dance instructor, I worked at SZUŠ Xoana, Move M, La Portella, and I still work at the Sabrosura dance school.

As a dancer, I have tried several dance styles, performed on stage with several Slovak and foreign artists, participated in many dance competitions and various dance projects, and traveled to many countries. Since 2020, I have had my own dance agency, and in 2023, I founded the Dance Kids civic association.

Mgr. Viktória Cheben

Dance has been a part of my life since I was three years old, when I started doing gymnastics and dancing. Later, when I started elementary school, my love for dance only grew stronger, as I attended an arts school where I expanded my repertoire. Afterwards, when I started elementary school, my interest in dance continued to flourish as I attended an arts school, where I expanded my dance repertoire with styles such as jazz, ballet, folk dance, contemporary, and even hip-hop. During my time at the elementary arts school, we participated in many national competitions, where we always placed successfully.

When I turned 11, I became fascinated by the music and dance of Latin America. I started to devote myself to styles such as merengue, salsa, samba, mambo, cumbia, and reggaeton at a Latin American dance school. Thanks to this dance school, I participated in many successful projects, performances, music video shoots, and other public and private cultural events. In 2017, we won the title of vice-world champions at the WADF competition in Liberec. I was based there until 2018.

Since 2019, I have been actively involved in the Mário Lopez Dance Company, thanks to which my passion and dance career can continue to blossom. I continue to participate as a professional dancer in various cultural events in Slovakia and abroad.

I have been teaching at Dance Kids since 2023 and I really enjoy passing on my experience and dance education to a new generation of dancers, just as my teachers passed it on to me. I am thrilled to see how our children enjoy dancing and how they improve with every training session.

Nicole Prokopová

Dancing has been my greatest passion since I was six years old. I have tried several dance styles – I started at the elementary art school with classical dance and ballet, later I devoted myself to jazz and modern dance. At the same time, I also danced in a folk dance ensemble. Although I was accepted to a dance conservatory, I eventually decided to consider dance only as my hobby. At the age of 11, I began to devote myself fully to Latin dance, which I still practice today. Later, I worked as a teacher for several years, focusing mainly on Latin dance and dance technique. To expand my dance knowledge, I also devoted some time to street dance
