General Terms and Conditions

1. Introductory Provisions

 

1.1 These General Terms and Conditions (hereinafter referred to as “GTC”) regulate the terms and conditions of participation in dance clubs and summer day dance camp organized by the Dance Kids civic association (hereinafter referred to as “the Organizer”).

1.2 By registering a child for a dance club or camp, the legal representative confirms that he/she has read these GTC and agrees to them.

 

 

 

2. Registration

 

2.1 Registration of a child for a dance club or summer day dance camp is done via an online application form on the Organizer's website.

2.2 In the application form, the parent (legal representative) provides the required information and selects the kindergarten or elementary school that the child attends and, in the case of a camp, the specific date must also be selected.

2.3 After completing and sending the application form, the parent will receive an e-mail confirmation of receipt of the application form together with payment instructions.

 

3. Payment and Membership Fee

 

3.1 Participation in a dance club is subject to payment of a membership fee, the amount of which is specified for each club on the Organizer’s website.

3.2 The membership fee is always due no later than the 5th day of the month or payment period, depending on the option chosen. Otherwise, the instructor is not obliged to take the child to the dance club.

3.3 In case of enrollment during an ongoing club period, the membership fee is payable immediately upon confirmation of registration.

3.4 The membership fee is non-refundable and will not be returned even in case of non-attendance at classes.

3.5 For participation in the summer day dance camp, a contribution to the activities of the civic association is payable according to the current price list on the website.

 

4. Compensation for Missed Lessons

 

4.1 If a participant misses more than 4 lessons in one month (with monthly payment) or more than 6

lessons in one period (3 months), he/she may be entitled to compensation in the form of:

-adjustment of the membership fee for the following period,

-the offer of a replacement lesson.

4.2 The form of compensation is decided by the Organizer on the basis of an individual assessment of the situation.

4.3 Compensation can only be granted if the participant has missed lessons for health reasons (e.g. long-term health complications, hospitalization).

4.4 The Organizer reserves the right to request proof of health-related reasons from the legal representative (e.g., a medical certificate from a doctor).
4.5 No entitlement to compensation arises if lessons are missed for reasons other than health issues.
4.6 No entitlement to compensation arises if the child is excluded from the dance club due to repeated failure to follow the instructor’s instructions.

 

5. Summer Day Dance Camp

 

5.1 The summer day dance camp takes place on specific dates published on the Organizer’s website.
5.2 The camp runs from 08:00 to 16:00. Arrival of children is possible from 08:00, departure must be no later than 16:00.

5.3 Registration for the camp is carried out via the online application form, followed by an email confirmation of receipt and payment instructions.

 

6. Cancellation Policy for Summer Day Camp

 

6.1 Once the civic association activity fee for the camp has been paid, 50% of the amount paid is non-refundable, regardless of the reason for cancellation.

6.2 If a participant cancels less than 7 days before the start of the camp, he/she shall not be entitled to any refund.

6.3 If a participant cancels more than 7 days before the start of the camp, he/she shall be entitled to a refund of 50% of the amount of the contribution paid for the activities of the civic association.

 

7. Termination of Membership in the Civic Association and Withdrawal from the Dance Club

 

7.1 Membership of a dance club shall automatically terminate on the expiry of the period for which the dance club was organised.

7.2 In case the legal representative wishes to terminate membership in the Civic Association and withdraw the child from the dance club before its termination, he/she is obliged to notify the organiser of the withdrawal in writing by e-mail.

7.3 Termination of membership and withdrawal is valid only after confirmation of receipt of the e-mail by the organizer.

 

8. Obligations of the Organizer

 

8.1 The Organizer shall provide dance classes by qualified instructors and create a safe environment for the participants.

8.2 The organiser reserves the right to change the timing or location of the dance classes/camp in the event of unforeseen circumstances.

 

9. Obligations of Participants and Their Legal Representatives

 

9.1 The legal representative is obliged to ensure that the child follows the rules of good behaviour and the instructions of the instructor.

9.2 The organizer is not responsible for the personal belongings of participants left unattended.

 

10. Personal Data Protection

 

10.1 The Organizer processes the personal data of participants and their legal representatives in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (GDPR) and Act No. 18/2018 Coll. on the Personal Data Protection.

 

 

 

 

11. Final Provisions

 

11.1 The Organizer reserves the right to change these GTC. Participants will be informed of changes via the website or by e-mail.

11.2 These GTC are valid and effective from the date of their publication on the Organizer's website.
